If there was no unprotected oral then hsv1 is not a realistic possibility. The <.9 is that labs way of saying negative without giving the actual value.
The reason I say this about hsv1 not being realistic without unprotected oral. Hsv1 when a genital infection has few if any outbreaks past the primary. It sheds very little and isn't very potent when it does.
Your tests are all negative
Thanks feeling. So considering my low risk exposure and negative tests I should be okay right? I mean I am feeling less anxious now than before however I do still feel slight burning sensations once in a while in the groin area, then I feel little jolts of pain in the testicular area, then a dull pain in the bladder area, then weird sensations in my legs (sometimes burning sometimes minor aches). I mean can any std cause such general discomfort in the pelvic area? I mean the discomfort comes and goes daily. Not too sure what to make of it. All docs said anxiety related but I don't feel anxious anymore and its still there.
No std would cause this. I am betting you are just hyper aware of anything down there.what you describe is exactly what all men complain of when they do something they regret. This is a very common thing on this forum. Now back to the testing, exposure and risk factor. Your risk factor was incredibly low. Your testing so far has been negative. Combine these two and you can relax. If you feel the need then just do a hsv2 test at twelve weeks and when it comes back negative... move on and don't look back.
I would tell you that the test isn't warranted but I understand the need for peace of mind.
I will definitely do that and like you said the risk was low and negative tests up to now are good indicators that I am clean. There is one last thing I want to ask though. So this hypersensitivity along with all these weird symptoms will disappear with time? Since you are well experienced in this field would you say the guys in this forum that complain of these weird symptoms get better over time?
Yes. Once the mind relaxes and you stop thinking and checking the area. Everything goes back to normal and I can't think of one person with these symptoms actually testing positive. Not one.
Thanks alot feeling you are of great help. I just went to get tested for the 6 week mark as recommended by my GP for everything including HIV and herpes. However I just got an antibiotic shot from a doctor right before that. Would that affect my herpes and hiv results?
When I said right before I mean like 2 - 3 hours right before getting blood drawn.
