Genital Herpes or Genital Aphthous Ulcer?

So I am confused on whether I am having a herpes outbreak or whether I have a non-sexually transmitted ulcer.

Some background:
-I have had oral HSV1 since I was a child (non-sexually transmitted), only 2 outbreaks so far (get the traditional text book cold sore)
-I am currently suffering through a 6 month long candidas infection (I've been red, tender, and have had discharge down there since January)
-I have yet to see any vesicles or crusting down yonder
-my vulva just hurts in general (it sucks)
-I thought I was having an outbreak that lasted months (flat red tender areas near vaginal opening) and saw 5 different obgyns and all refused to swab saying it was just irritation
-I tested for HSV2 IgG about a month ago (5 months after last partner) and it came back <0.02
-I have non-stop whitish discharge
-My anus is really red and in pain since yesterday for some strange reason.

My issue:
So this Tuesday night I went on a date and had protected sex, no oral. It was fun and all but he was a bit on the larger side and combined with my irritation it hurt quite a bit. Later that night at home before bed (Tues night) as I pulled out my mirror and got my gloves on to examine my vulva and put on Bethamethason ointment, like I do every night, I noticed a small white round ulcer under my urethra on top of my vaginal opening. It didn't hurt much cause my whole vagina in general has been hurting for 6 months so I can't distinguish pain. I had not seen anything like it the night before nor did I notice any vesicles. It just randomly showed up. I thought it was strange because I started my acyclovir on Sunday night to prevent any oral outbreaks.
Today (the next day) I went to see one of my obgyn's (the one who is ALWAYS available) who I asked to swab the ulcer, he refused cause he said it did not look like a herpes lesion. He said it was probably caused by my discharge and sexual friction and proceeded to prescribe more diflucan. So I am left answer-less as to why I have this ulcer.

Have any of you experienced this? What was it? What do you think it is?

I am so lost.

Sorry for the long post. Tried breaking it up to make it more bearable.

Now there's a new installation. I now have a little bubble looking thing on my inner labia. Now I am definitely worried :/ going to try to get it cultured today. I think my new relationship might end (I feel a depression coming on).

I just examined and noticed a tiny ulcer like indentation a bit above the other ulcer under my Urethra opening. So now I am worried once more. The other ulcer is almost gone.

That most likley would be from the sex act itself

about a week. They appear, open releasing clear fluid and often spread to the immediate surrounding area in a cluster type grouping, scab over and heal.. Since you already have hsv1 oral your basicly immune to contracting it in the genital area. Only hsv2 would be an issue.

I suppose you're right. Although there's the possibility that it could be hsv1. But I don't know.
How long do hsv ulcers usually last?
I know most people get the vesicles which then pops and turns into an ulcer.

Sex, its been said that any trama including sex can trigger herpes but your white sore is not herpes as you tested negative before your fun sex and it would be to soon for one to appear from that event.
In any event you need to talk to your doctor about the ointment, as just stopping it might make things really worse. Your skin is now used to this oitment and may cause a rebound irritation much worse than before.

I have decided to stop the ointment. Just let everything heal on its own.

Hello thank you for replying to my post. I have been worried because I accidentally touched my eye while applied ointment the night before.
And rough sex can't trigger herpes healing or rupture?
I am just wondering because I have never had an Ulcer down there before and
a lot of internet sites say herpes can be ulcers.
But it was strange that it just popped up after having (protected) sex earlier that day, especially while on 1000 mg of acyclovir/day.
I checked today and it isn't white anymore, it is rapidly receding and it's just a reddish (like the rest of my vulva) crater.

Hi, we can rule out genital herpes from the fun sex as take minimum 3 days for any sores to appear and they would not be white. Having constant vaginal discharges can cause genital irritations as your describing as can be fungal or bacterial based. You really need to get to the bottom of why your having so many discharges. Many times this stems from a change in your genital Ph and could be from bath soap, cloths soap an softners or even tight undies and pants.
If the top layer of the skin is damaged, irritations could become cronic. Also the cream your using (" i use every night") appears to be a cordizoid which can be a skin thinner and cause skin damage and leads to itching. This may be the cause of all your genital irritations. Also its better to use a "cream" not oitment as oitment does not desolve as is oil based.

You really need to tell your doctor about this oitment your using every night.
