HSV-1 / End of Cycle Question

My girlfriend had a cold sore on 5/20/15 and we didn't kiss or engage in sexual activity for 3 weeks. It went away in a little over a week (all the stages) and left a very tiny blemish/scar (very small). 3 weeks later (6/9/15) she performed oral sex for 4 or 4 seconds (if that) and stopped because we decided to perform intercourse (protected). She does not have HSV-2.

Questions:

1. If there is no lesion but a tiny/blemish scar, is it ok for her to resume oral sex on me?
2. Based on #1, is there ever an occasion where it is ok for her to provide me oral sex? She waited a long time to do oral sex on me (3 weeks) and it was literally 4 seconds or less on me.
3. Is the scar/blemish contagious or just a blemish/scar?

Is there a serious risk of HSV-2 from the very quick oral sex she gave to me after the cold sore healed and went away (based on above)?

Thank you.

If the sore was healed, its not contagious.

yes
hsv1 cannot turn into hsv2, its a different herpes and she cant transfer it to your genital area by touching.
Since upward of 65% of the adult population would test positive for hsv1 oral, i would advise you to have a blood test because if you already have it as well from childhood, you cant contract it again either oral or genital.

Thank you very much.

Just to be clear on your answers so I understand...

Answer 1. She had the cold sore on 5/20 and we waited 3 weeks until 6/9 for her to provide oral sex. So total of 3 weeks from outbreak to healed. Does your answer still apply?

Answer 3. The scar/blemish is pink and very small. Is it safe to assume it's still not contagious.

Answer 4. She has HSV-1 (cold sores) but not HSV-2. I know HSV-1 touching the genitals becomes HSV-2. So my concern is if the blemish could transfer HSV-1 to my genitals and become HSV-2?

Sorry but making sure I am clear.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,
1. yes, waiting 3 weeks after the sore dissapears would be an acceptable no risk period.
2. see 1.
3. No its not
4. The odds she has oral hsv2 is rare and not something to be concerned about
