I need closure

Unfortunately ive been having groin and legs pains as well as random itching in the genital area. From what i know about hsv  it seems those are symptoms.
I know my test, a very good test at that, was negative at 19 weeks. Would you say its a definite conclusive result and the groin issues are not related to hsv? Sometimes i feel super relieved and other times i question it. I told myself i would end this once and for all when i got the western blot but im still having symptoms. Along with tge groin aches and pains ive had ingrown hair things that come and go but the one ive had for a week or so has came and gone but in the same place. I used steroid cream on it and it dried it up in a day or so but since has came back. I read the western blot is the best test but im wondering if im just not showing positive? I want to be completely sure my test results are conclusive bc ive been seeing a girl and do not want to infect her. Any help would really be good for me b at one point i was fine but the leg issues and little pimple things make me not believe the western blot results.

The most recent swabs again were negative and the doctor actually told me to let it go and be done with it, just as all of you here have. She thinks im nuts. I might be ha but i feel good now and ive tossed this whole ordeal away i think. Like you said ive done all i can do. I cant do anything else but move on so thats what i plan on doing.
Just wanted to thank you all for the help. I wish you all the best and honestly believe if it werent for all of you id be going way crazy

Broken, you're following the same dark path I did. Fleet has provided the best advice to you. You and I have taken the best test available for herpes and within the respected timeframes. There is nothing we literally can do and as Fleet mentioned to me, we have done everything on our well beyond what a reasonable person would to find a proper diagnosis, specifically if we have herpes or not. Swabs, blood, there is nothing else we can do.

Just follow up with your doctor regarding  your symptoms and start looking at other issues. I've accepted I may have HSV1, but my tests say I'm negative so I'm living my life that way. My girlfriend knows my concerns, but simply reminds me all my blood tests say I'm clear, so she's not worried. If I infect her, it's not my fault in the least. How would it be yours if you infect this new girl.

You have documentation clearly showing you don't have the virus. Deal with that fact. If you continue like this, counseling is your best bet. Truthfully. You can't keep coming on here hoping people give you reassurance. It's looking like you might be mentally unstable. Broken, trust you're negative and live your life that way.

I'm sorry you are lost in your journey to diagnosis. It is only in being lost that we can be found. You have followed the map to herpes and have not found it. You must chart a new course.

Remember a definition of insanity is to keep thinking and doing the same thing and expecting a different outcome. Choose a wise path!

Its the only place to look for an answer. Yeah my blood tests are negative and enough time has passed but lingering symptoms bring me back and idk where else to go.

Seem you know all the facts yourself, we have told them to you and now you can say them to yourself. Which you should... "I don't have herpes" over and over until it becomes a whisper....

You need to stay off of this site and see a therapist.

So youre saying my WB has to be conclusive or atleast 99% certain bc i waited the right amount of time before getting it and it was negative. 19 weeks after the fact would show some sort of positive if i were to have it? I know i waited long enough its just difficult to believe when i get this groin and leg aching pain and random pimple on my legs. Ive had swabs done as well and matter of fact getting a swab done as we speak. Both are the gold standards of testing. I want to put it all behind me but like i said the symptoms are stopping me. I just dont want to infect anyone and have the herpes scare talk if i dont have to. Did you ever have a blood test? And how long did u wait to take it? Obviously the swab is the best test but those were negative for me as well. In my head and from the testing point of view im negative but what i am feeling makes me think otherwise

You simply can't fall into the trap that herpes is some form of catch all, especially one that has been disproven in your case. There are thousands of ailments, viruses, bacteria etc. to choose from.

Why isn't it a trapped pelvic nerve or other nerve block? Issues with your back referring pain? These cause your symptoms magnitudes more times than herpes.

Well if it isn't herpes then what else could it be? I'm going to get a full physical done to see if nothing is abnormal I guess. I just don't know what else  to think and honestly I'm driving myself absolutely crazy with this stuff

These are not really herpes symptoms.

What else can you do? You are so privileged to have had the best test available to so few on a world scale and its negative.

You really must move on. Its way, way more likely that your new girl will infect you with HSV, if not her then another one...
