Day 7 and panicking about herpes

Dear Community, I hope everyone is doing well.

I, male, 27, circumcised, had unprotected sex with a coworker.
She did not have any visual symptoms of any disease
I know she gets cold sores but did not have one visible and said that other than that, she was okay.
I have tested negative for all STDs in the past(HIV, Gono Chlam, Herpes IGG 1,2, Syphilis)

Unprotected oral and vaginal sex 7 days ago.
Briefing summary of everything
In day 5 A GP saw me and said nothing to worry about. For preventive measure, they gave me a shot for gonorrhea and chlamydia
Since day 4/5 I have developed red spots in the penile head. They gave me Neosporin but bothered me so just put it once.
Day 6 spots get better but were wearing relaxed cloth and let the penis breathe more.
On Day 7 the spots are still there and they have not developed into blisters. My Penis feels sore,No fever no swollen lymph node but to emphasize that my foreskin has been really tight, surprisingly because I am circumcised.

I am currently on my way to the emergency room and have it checked out.

What is your input on the situation?

Thanks for all your help!

Hey.

Hope I can help, but in this situation direct examination is always better than a distant person, good show in going to get it looked at please let me know how it goes.

In regards to Herpes, this dosnt sound at all like Herpes if it was the spots would have blistered and probably have been painful, they are also in a position that probably would have made urination painful.

The chances of you catching herpes from a one of sexual encounter is very low if your partner was not showing any outward symptoms also.

So putting it all together I find it unlikely that this is Herpes.

So what is it? Could be a number of different things. I wonder if you are examining yourself too much and caused irritation or perhaps a mild fungal infection.

Without seeing pictures it’s hard to say but I don’t think Herpes is a risk.

Let me know if this helps? And what direct examination reveals.

Thanks

Dear Dadz,

Thanks for the message I really apréciate it. A GP just saw me and said that it doesn’t look like herpes , just irritated. Didn’t give me an answer. And did it quite quick.
He did refer me to a urologist.

I made an appointment for Thursday(making it my day 12) so if something should show up by then, then it should.

Anyways I’ll just let it be, wash once a day and with a hypoallergenic soap.

Anyways thanks for the message

I think that’s a good plan, don’t over clean or inspect just let it run it’s course. I honestly don’t think you have anything to worry about.

I’m even more happy to tell you not to worry now a GP as seen it, with how popular Herpes is he would undoubtedly have seen thousands of outbreaks, if he’s not in the least bit concerned you certainly shouldn’t be.

Well done for going to see a doctor though many people just bury head in sand and this only prolongs the anxiety.

Stay safe
