Valacyclovir suppressive therapy and autoinoculation

Good morning,
First, i am sorry if this question have maybe been already asked. I have searched on NCBI and a lot of forums before.
I am on a suppressive therapy with 500 mg of valacyclovir per day, in order to prevent recurrent (more than 10 a year) HSV1 outbreaks on my mouth. This is my third suppressive therapy, i was already on it in 2006-2007 and 2011-2012.
I have read that autoinoculation is quite rare once you acquired enough antibodies.
But, i would like to know if the suppressive therapy could lower the number of antibodies and so, increase the chance to self transmit the virus on other part of the body?
There is maybe some paranoia in my question and i apologize for that.
Thank you very much for your answer.

Antivirals won't reduce the number of antibodies. They just help suppress the virus so you don't get outbreaks. You are well beyond the point of worrying about autoinocculation. To prevent infection, you still shouldn't touch outbreaks (that can introduce bacteria into your sore), and unless you have a decent size wound on your finger and touch your weeping blister, you probably won't ever infect yourself on another body part.

Also, just an FYI - you probably won't ever get genital hsv1, either. Just avoid getting oral sex from someone with an active hsv1 outbreak on their mouth, and you should be just fine.
