Herpes spot?!?

I had unprotected sex just over a month ago and I have had an std test which the results came back negative. I am pretty sure I wasn't tested for herpes although she said I didn't have it. A couple of days ago I noticed a big red spot in my pubic area about two inches above my penis. I have no other spots anywhere. This spot didn't change in a couple of days and I squeezed it and a small amount of pus came out followed by a bit of blood. I haven't shaved in about 3 weeks. Does this seem like a herpes spot?

Far from it, pus does not come out of a herpes lesion.

If you'd like to understand your herpes status then obtain a blood test, but I see no reason to on account of what you describe.
