Herpes? Red bumps? Help!

I have only had sex with two people in the last 3 months, the were both un protected but both women I have frequently had sex with in the past. But I have had other sexual encounters ie: hand jobs, blow jobs, fingering. Things of that nature, about two weeks ago I was making out and fooling around with a girl I know and in the middle of her giving me a hand job as I'm fingering her she tells me that she has herpes and if we have sex that we need to use a condom. I freak out stop doing everything and we talk about it, she says she isn't on a break out she's also on medication and hasn't had an outbreak in over a year. Needless to say we did not have sexual intercourse at all. But I'm worried because since then I've been noticing red bumps and patches that itch around my genitals, primarily on my scrotum and I'm scared as hell I'm going in on Wednesday for an appointment but I'm still freaking out. They don't look like blisters but does early stages just look like bumps? I haven't experienced any other symptoms.

Yes it is a bit uncertain, but I think that is such a great point to raise. Symptoms are not that unique to a specific condition such as herpes. You need to be aware that there are multiple possibilities and eliminate them all.

I went to the doctor and got a blood test, he says what it looks like is molluscum contagiousum. Or rash due to heat and humidity we have been experiencing lately. Still scary cuz all these things look the same to me. I can't tell the difference between bumps and blisters, the anxiety doesn't help at all with this situation. But still I wish it would just go away. I'm so uncomfortable.

If your genitals did not come into contact with hers then there is no chance of an infection from that episode. This partner has been open about her infection, most are not and you will have undoubtedly been exposed from both oral and vaginal sex previously.

Your symptoms do not sound herpes related, you're just trying to put 1 and 1 together.

However testing for HSV antibodies type specific for HSV1 and HSV2 will identify your status.

And also I have had issues with jock itch, and genital acne in my life off and on so idk if this is just me having anxiety and feeling like I'm having symptoms, I practice very good hygiene. No one I've had oral sex with has any cold sores or anything like that. I've been using antibiotic ointment, and yeast infection cream and the antibiotic cream seems to be helping somewhat but I just don't don't know. I haven't had any flu like symptoms but I have had irritation, like itching alon my groin area, the bumps/ marks don't seem to be fluid filled or anything but more have surfaced over the last 24 hours after I spent about 4 hours working on my car outside in the 100 degree weather.
