one single bump....

I have this bump on my inner leg sort of near my vagina. ive had it for a few months and i never thought anything about it, just thought it was a scare from cutting myself from shaving. last week it started to gradually get more and more sore day by day. i finally decided to take a closer look and tried to pop it. it popped and white/yellowish puss came out and it felt better  within an hour and reduced in size. but a week later it started hurting again, so i popped it again and puss stuff came out again. i kept popping it until it starting bleeding. its still there and it feels like a knot still. idk what it could be. im getting worried please help. Thanks!

herpes  won't stick around unchanged for this long.

you've already popped it so nothing you can do at this point. should it return, be seen promptly for it.

im not a dr, but that sounds like an ingrown hair to me that got infected.  It can happen if you shave or wax, if the bump didnt resolve itself in over 2 months, i doubt it is herpes.  But to put your mind at ease, see your dr.  dont worry for nothing, the worry will never stop if you dont get an answer.  good luck!
