Is this herpes?!

I have what started as a rash in the middle of my lower back right on my spine, which is somewhat painful and a tad bit itchy. At first it was just on that one spot on my back and the it began appearing on be top of my right butt cheek, and then finally appearing along the bottom of my right butt cheek and down my thigh, all itchy and a little painful. After a while with clothes and belts rubbing on the various spot it got further inflamed and little red dots began forming in the rash, almost looking like its been itched raw.. could this be herpes, I'm not sure if it looks like blisters, but I'm not sure what else it could be

This has been answered, no reason to suspect they are. If you have concerns seek medical advice and a swab of the lesions. Overall they don't sound herpetic in nature (meaning description and multiple locations etc.)
