HSV 2 RESULTS, retest?

Hi,
I just got my results back from getting STD tested. Everything came back negative, except my HSV-2 IgG results. It was 1.43, which is positive (>0.90). Needless to say, I'm pretty down in the dumps considering I'm in my early twenties. Is there a chance that this truly is a false positive? And should I get retested (if so, how far should I wait)? I got tested two days ago. Thank you to anyone who responds, I truly appreciate it.

you tested far too early  for herpes.

since you had unprotected sex a week prior, use that as your time for your std testing. you can get tested for chlamydia, gonorrhea, trich and ngu after 1 week post encounter. syphilis after 6 weeks. herpes, hiv and hepatitis after 3 months.

has your most recent partner had full std testing to know their status? will they show their results to you?

protect yourself and always have protected sexual contact! it saves you worrying , protects you, saves you from having to test for std's frequently as well as additional protection against pregnancy.

As far as the partner from six weeks ago, is that too early to test for herpes as well?

And what should I regard my test results as?

Thank you so much for your help, I truly appreciate it.

I had sex three days prior using a condom, but had unprotected sex one week ago (same partner). Six weeks prior I had a different partner without a condom.
