You should retest because your score was low and could be a false positive.
My lesion are still the same over 3 weeks. Still no pain or blistering. The lesions are elongated...kinda of like a photo I saw of a skin tag but there are several there. In your opinion do you think I should retest. What else could it possibly be being that the test was positive? Also should the igg be higher during an outbreak? Sorry so many questions. All responses are appreciated.
Yes they usually are painful.
I have heard that the sores are usually painful at some point. Is this true? I was sure it was herpes because the lesions are there and the igg was positive. I also had a bacterial infection at the time. I have accepted the diagnosis. Does anyone feel there would be any need to retest? Thank you so much for your response.
Hi and welcome. The meds your taking are to help aide in breakout healing. Your 1gg was very and you might consider retesting if you dont think the sores you have are herpes related. The first outbreak is usually more intense. With sores is always an idea to do a swab to verify what they are.
