Igg confirmation

Was diagnosed with chlamydia, and hsv2 3 days after. My score was at 1.31 for hsv2 and .12 for hsv1. I did a second igg test after 4 weeks for confirmation and my scores were 1.44 for hsv2 and .16 for hsv1.
My question is "is this confirmation valid or should I proceed with the western blot test?" Also "why did both my scores increase and can reactive arthritis cause a false positive?

Your index value falls into false positive. Usually when you have hsv1 the test picks some odd proteins and shows low positive like yours for hsv2. Since you are negative for hsv1 it could be real positive for hsv2 but I doubt it. I would suggest to wait 12 weeks since exposure and get another igg test, if it is over 3.5 than it’s conclusive, if it’s less than that, I would consider it negative if you don’t have any leassions. You can get western blot to be sure, but you have to wait 12 weeks so it can be accurate. 4 weeks is too early to say, I know the waiting game it’s not fun, igg is fairly available and cheep, like $60-$70 no doctors appointment needed, there are online std websites that provide it, so you can get it at 8 weeks as well and see if it increases significantly or not for your peace of mind.

First test was taken 12 weeks after exposure, second test was 16 weeks after exposure.
If you didn’t have any lesions most likely it’s false positive. If you want you can get western blot for your peace of mind
No lesion or sores more like a rash patches on glans and I had a Dr. Look at it and said it didn't look like herpes also idk if herpes response to clotrimazol cream also I did the hsv1 test somewhere else even when told by Dr. Not to.
