Please Help!!! I'm really worried!!!

So it all started before my last period.  I started getting this burning feeling down there and this brown colored discharge that i Had for like about a week. Then I finally decided to make an appt with an gyn. It just so happens that I got my period the day before I went to see my gyn. I went in and he did a culture even though I was bleeding down there. Well he said he would try to get a reading from it. Also that very same day I got the Gardasil vaccine. I had been wanting to get it so I got my first shot ou tof the 3. The next day I got this small little rash down there and was alarmed. It went away over night but, I called the gyn because i was still feelign this burning feeling down there even after my period. Went in and he told me that the result from my previous visit indicated a yeast infection. He prescribed this one time pill that I took that very same day and that was it. After I took it the brown discharge stopped but I still had this constant burning feeling down there like towards the bottom of my vagina. So I went in to get checked again yesterday. He told me if I have ever had herpes? I said not that I know of. I had had previous checks for like chlamidia, gonnorreah and what not and those came back negative. He did a swab thing downt here and told me to call back Monday. I asked him how sure he was that it was Herpes. He indicated he wasn't completely sure.  He told be about this patient that came in like a week ago and he looked at her down there and he could very very well determine that she had herpes. With me he just wanted to make sure it wasn't that.  I'm really really worried about that. I have to call in on Monday for my results. I am so worried and scared. I've looked up herpes pictures and I don't look at all like that. I do however have this burning sensation down there and a whitish discharge. It doesn't hurt when I pee either. I have no idea. I've also gotten like this itchyness in my bun hole. I checked it out and I don't have any like blisters or sores on my bun hole. So I don't know what it could be. Could it be that I could have sores in the inside of my bun hole and not know it? Also, herpes causes blisters right? I haven't gotten blisters like the ones I've seen on the internet. I have these small little round things but they aren't like clustered or antyhing. I'm so scared..please help

You probably had HSV1 for a long time since most people do. HSV1 is the HSV you would want if you had a choice. Fewer OB's and it is a little more tolerable than the 2 type.

So my test results are as follows:

HSVI AB, IGG  MINE WAS >5.86
>1.10 POSITIVE: IGG AB TO HSV TYPE 1 GLYCOPROTEIN G DETECTED

HSVII AB, IGG MINE WAS 0.23
<.0.90 NEGATIVE: NO SIGNIFICANT LEVEL OF DETECTABLE IGG AB TO HASV TYPE II GLYCOPROTEIN G.

I trust these results to be accurate because the last time I had any sexual contact was in September and that would of been enough time for my body to build antibodies to HSVII and it would of shown in the blood test.

Either way I still have herpes..just not the HSVII...don't know how it makes it any better.

Yes, it was the nurse that gave me the negative test result for the lesion culture test.

Did I miss something but didn't you say you got a negative test result over the phone the other day?

Not neccessarily. Any time I've gone to my actual doctor (instead of a clinic) for testing they tell me upfront that I will have to go in to get the results. Depends on the policies of your doctor's office. Stay calm and don't stress yourself out until you get the results. There may be nothing wrong.

Got a call from my doctors office. Says he wants to go over my test results tomorrow at 3:30. I'm freaking out of course because if they were negative couldnt they just tell me over the phone?

I awoke this morning around 2 am to undies soaked with blood that apparently is coming from my vagina. Not sure what that is due to. Although I did take 2 birth control pills yesterday because i Forgot to take one on Sunday night like I was supposed to. Could it be due to that? I'm still bleeding but not as bad. It's really dark in color and I have a slight pain in my lower abdomen.

Well I haven't heard back from the blood test I took yesterday yet. They said it would take 1-3 days. I'm hoping to hear back tomorrow at the latest.

I stopped reading her question after she said "My Dr. asked me if I ever had herpes before" line. If a Dr. is asking it that way, he has NO CLUE what herpes is. Nothing you said described herpes anyhow.

I'm sorry you did not get any responses from people.  I have noticed some forums take awhile to get feedback and you need to be patient but I'm glad your results came back negative.  It's smart to still get the bloodwork done to clear your mind and I wish you the best.  You are doing all the right things to take care of yourself and I hope you are feeling better.

So anyway. After no replies to my post I went to www.herpes-coldsores.com forum. Seems that there is more supportive members in that forum.

Anyway. Reporting back. I got my result today over the phone and it was a negative. I dont have herpes. Needless to say I'm still going to get a blood test done.
