4 days of possible prodrome but no outbreak . HELP!!

I'm 19 years old , I had unprotected sex about two weeks ago . Everything was seemingly fine but I developed a yeast infection towards the beginning of this week . Ever since I've been using equate (Walmart brand miconazole) I've been having a tingling sensation in my labia and sometimes on the skin in my pelvic region . I googled this symptom and all that has come up is herpes prodrome . The tingling has lasted for 4 days and I haven't had any other symptoms related to herpes or any visual outbreak . Could the tingling be a result of the off brand medication . Idk if the sensation is all in my head. I'm really going crazy .

Yes that's right. Usually on a primary infections the lesions will come quickly. Even with a recurrent outbreak, the lesion will start forming 6-24 hours after the concentrated tingling or throbbing feeling commences.

Hi Chelsea, prodrome is more for those who already have herpes and is a tool used to predict outbreaks and should not last more than a couple of days, What your describing would not be herpes related but as you suggest the cream.
