Can you get herpes from receiving a happy ending massage hand job?

Just over four months ago, I regretfully went to a what seems to be a less than reputable type of massage parlor. She gave me a massage with oil, and soon gave me a happy ending handjob.. her shirt was lifted but her pants stayed on and all that was received was hand stimulation. When I was done, she went and grabbed a damp hot towel and wiped me off.

Is there any risk for herpes or any other STD? Particularly if she saw somebody else shortly before me.

When I first arrived one of the ladies told me to come back in 20 minutes because somebody was already in the room. I came back in 25 minutes, just push it a little further and there was no car in the parking lot so they were already gone..

Two months later I began to experience A bunch of red dots on my side, and once they faded away I noticed a sensitivity to the very tip of my penis, where there was a red irritation.. since that cleared up, I had redness and itchiness pretty badly on the upper half of my shaft and scrotum.

At this point the itchiness isn’t too prominent, but the color of the head of my penis, upper half of shaft (foreskin area), and scrotum still seem to be not quite right. My penis head has a bit of a blotchy redness to it instead of the healthy color it used to be.

I seem to have some itching on my legs too but at this point I’m hyper aware of every little feeling in my body and associating it possibly with herpes. Hard to know what to believe in myself now..

Have been going through a terrible time the last couple of months. Any help is appreciated.

The redness could be balantitus or fungal.

You cannot get herpes or any std from a hand touching your penis.

If that is the only contact you are worried about you are fine.

The only way to be sure is to get a swab when it comes back. But it would have to be from a different contact than what you described. There is a blood test but it is not very reliable and can give you a false positive.

I did get a blood test at exactly 7 weeks from the massage, and it came back negative. The same type of red spots have come up on my ankles too and i keep scratching accidentally making it bleed.

Is this possible to have herpes come from the towel that was used to wipe me off? I see conflicting info on whether its possible to get it from towels or not.

She ran and got it quickly and i remember it was real warm so maybe outnof a towel warmer..could this previous mans herpes still be in that towel? I just feel like thr areas she quickly wiped off at the end are the ones affected. Thanks again
You can’t get herpes on your ankle. If you tested negative on your blood test you are good. And I don’t care what anyone says you cannot get it from a towel. You have anxiety.
You think you could get scabies from a towel like that? It really seems like something happened here.

You’re right about the anxiety thats for sure, but i still think there could be fair considerations at hand.

What if she didn’t wash her hands between the previous guy and me? How long would the virus reside on her hands before my massage ya think?
You have already been advised that you can't get herpes (or any STD) from hands or a towel.  There isn't anything further for our members to say about your no-risk event.

I should also add that the spot that I believe is called the “frenulum” of my penis (the line of the underside) has been consistently red and irritated looking, and sensitive feeling if i touch it. Otherwise i dont really feel it just walking around.

I think I’ve noticed weird shiny/moist type patches on a couple different spots around my penis. Particularly lower underside. Doesnt hurt, maybe alittle itchy sensif i touch it.. Thanks again
