Herpes simplex 1 transmission
Hi, my boyfriend has HSV 1 orally, I recently shaved and he did kiss the top layer of skin of my recently shaved vagina(not the mucous membrane inside) (would this cause microscopic cuts in the skin and allow entry for the virus)? Mind you he wasn't presenting any cold sores at the time but could have been asymptomatically shedding.
It could but the odds are extremely low. Oral hsv when not on daily antiviral therapy sheds about 10-15%ish of days.

Is the 10-15% of days in a month or year? Or just generally throughout a lifetime ?
The study's break it down for a year. Again the odds of you contracting hsv1 from this is almost zero
