Does sound like a false positive. What were the results of the second test? Was it a combined test?
Hi, with the first test your hsv2 false into the false positive range and would need a second test to confirm. You doctor said your positive for 1 and 2 on the second test so you need to ask him the numbers. You need to get this information before you do anything else/
I'm sure the results were still pretty low because they didn't even offer medication to stop a outbreak which is something ive never had. I am just not trying to past it on to my partner because we are planning to have a child together she did say my risk is very low when I asked the numbers she said she didn't know they both just came back positive gig 1 and 2.
Low numbers will tend to mean that you don't have the virus. I would not consider this a diagnosis at this stage at all. I'd seek a new doctor and request type specific testing and signal in advance you'll come and look through the complete results and discuss.
