Question

I was just curious. When researching GH I of course found hundreds of questionable "I cured my herpes with ...." pages. I was wondering how these people would ever know they were "cured" since they have no lesions to test and the blood tests test for antibodies, which in theory would remain after the virus had left. Then that vane of thought led me to thinking about actual medical research. I'm sure there must be a way to test for the virus's presence- otherwise how would those doing research ever know if they had been successful. I was just wondering what that was.
Thanks

ummm although I appreciate your comments and your correcting my wordchoice (very helpful). I think you misunderstood what I was asking you. I know the "cures" are not real because it is unlikely some large corporation would not have capitalized on it by now.  So if it is true they can not test for the virus itself without any OB's. How are researchers that are searching for a cure test for the virus and other viruses for which the only evidence is antibodies? How would they know that the virus was eliminated. Again I am talking about scientists.

They can't know, so obviously all the "cures" are not real.

Save your money.  :)

It's "vein" of thought, not "vane."

The virus "never leaves" once you are infected.  Therefore, you will always have the antibodies to it, which is how practitioners and researchers would know if you are infected.
