Herpatic Whitlow Inquiry

Hello,
I recently had a sexual encounter with a female involving mostly my hands. This occurred approximately 6 days ago. I have been tested in the past with no STDs thus far. Anyway, the next day when I woke up, I had a painful blister on the outer part of my pinky of the right hand that had a little dark purplish/reddish color to it and the circumference. I popped it immediately ignorantly, not thinking much of it. Then it became a little bit more red around it and there was a small sore. I placed neosporin on it 2 times a day with a band aid covering it. It pretty much healed in 2-3 days. I have two questions... does this seem like possible whitlow that miraculously just healed quickly? And if it is, does it spread to other parts of my body that come into contact with the sore. And I lied, I have one more... what else could cause this acute random blister....btw I do not have any known skin conditions.  Thank you very much.

they should've cultured your symptoms, not done blood and urine testing.

not likely a newly acquired whitlow infection would heal that quickly.

if you have a new blister, be seen and get it checked out. MRSA or even just regular staph a much more likely cause of it but also other bacteria can cause these.
