Scrotum rash.

I posted earlier about suspected friction burns on my penis head and shaft. After a clinic visit today the DR confirmed these were not herpes related and could have been due to a number of things from conflicting antibiotics (floxacilin and zithromax) to eczema to dermatitis.
A few hours later I've started to feel itching on my scrotum which is kinda irritating, it's bothering me
Had a look and there's redness and a mild rash on one of my testicles.
I've read on old posts that herpes very rarely interacts with the scrotum and also one of the STD expert said
NO std causes scrotum itching or rash. Is that correct? Does anyone know if any of the above suggestions from the DR could cause a scrotum rash?

The majority of the above symtoms came after having unprotected sex with a girl I'm seeing who I care about a great deal and being a very anxious person I'm living in fear that I've transmitted it to her. (Even though I felt it was very unlikely I have it in the first place)
I know that my own timeline and symptoms are not at all like typical herpes infection however the morning after the encounter my gf said she felt unwell. Note: during that time I had the common cold.
The next day she had a sore throat similar to me.
Then the next day (3 days after the sex) she said her whole body hurt and she felt faint at work. She's not been bedridden by anything and was at work today.
My question is that, if she were infected, how long after body aches/ flu would blisters occur? Would it be before or during?

It does appear would be from an aggravation even from you scratching the area yourself while asleep as commonly happens. And appears unlikely due to herpes as doesnot fit the outbreak profile.

I guess my question is, could a fungal infection tie together generalised itching in pubic area for two weeks, redness of the sensitive skin on penis (aggravated from sex and friction) and a light rash on scrotum?

And if not, herpes unlikely ties those symptoms together 9 weeks after contact and with no visible outbreak noticed before

I've definitely had no outbreak in the last 9 weeks since exposure.

I haven't because for some reasons it's not in the testing panel for stds but I realise that's the only way to rule out herpes and a negative after 9 weeks  would be a good sign.
I just feel like it sounds more like something fungal or just dermatitis.

Best to ask your pharmasist about  the corizone but i use it and is quite effective with itching. You also can talk to your doctor about it. For sever rashes they have a prescription strength of 2.5%.  I cant rule out herpes with out testing confirmation but prodrome  should not last that long and also prodrome is for those who already have had an outbreak so if you feel its a new infection, the term prodrome would not really be used. First time outbreaks would be at point of contact.
Have you been tested for herpes?

Hello and thanks again for the advice.
Just a few questions if I may? I've read a lot of people advise a 1% hydrocortisone for similar rashes on the genitals. I think I would like to try that for a few days and see but would you recommend against that?

On and off I've felt generalised itching for two weeks. Would that rule out prodrome?

Hi, topical irritations would be fungal related or even self induced. That area is very sensitive and constant scratching could cause a cronic irritation.
No std causes topical irritations like your mentioning.. The closest would be prodrome herpes but not non stop without a sore developing and your correct that area is not often of herpes.
Some creams that are coritzone based, if used regularly can cause skin thinning.

She also said could be a little bit of thrush. I have a GP appointment on Friday. Would it be wise to try a thrush cream in the mean time?
Any advice is greatly appreciated as always.
