Sex with condom while possible outbreak

After I had sex with my boyfriend, we both noticed a hard bump near opening of my vagina. Not sure if it’s a outbreak as it does feel or look like one. We always use condoms but I am stressing that after 5 years of being really careful, I may have given him herpes. Any infomation will be greatly appreciated.

A hard bump doesn't sound like an outbreak. An outbreak is on the skin, not something under the skin.

Is it painful? It may be something that your doctor needs to check out, but it doesn't sound like herpes.
