Is large area tingling a herpes

Hi

I had unprotected oral sex only with a CSW in early Nov 2011.  I have just gone for an HIV test as I was concerned.  However I am trying to understand if I have been infected with genital herpes.  It is now 3 months later and various times over that period I have had these symptoms, Over the last 3 weeks I have had tingling all the way down my inner thighs to my knees, in my pelvic area, my lower abdomin on both sides, my scrotum and a little in my penis.  I did not have any showing sores, and have not over all these last 3 months while having these symptoms.  I finally had some type of lesion open up in my inner thigh about 2 inches to the right of my scrotum nothing on my scrotum, penis or under it.  Is there a chance this could be herpes.  This tingling creates sensitivings all down my leg and when my clothes touch it is feels like something running across my skin. The scrotal sac is not enlarged but redder than normal.  No pain when urninating. Can herpes just appear in the inner thigh area and not near your genitals also.

I have not had a fever but have felt flushed and my skin has rashed up sometimes in my neck and upper chest, lower abdomin and those love handles.

Some say the tingling only occurs at the infection site, however mine is over a large area of my body as described above.

Thanks

you need to be seen for a proper exam to find out what is going on.

there was no need to test for hiv from oral sex.

your symptoms don't really sound like hsv1 genitally either.
