Skin to skin rubbing is the key that allows the virus to transfer without exposure to the elements.
This is no issue for you in any event. As you have an immune response, it is extremely difficult to become infected in another location. It just doesn't practically happen in healthy individuals.
I did kind of rub because I was checking my "stuff".
So there is no cause for concern because I have seen a lot of conflicting information on the internet?
Thanks
Its a fragile virus and does really not survive outside the body. It also has to be friction rubbed to force the virus into the nerve. Hsv1 also prefers the oral ganglion and the list goes on.
Thanks Life360 for your answer and swift reply.
Would you please elaborate on why it only takes direct contact to transmit?
HI, really not an issue. It takes direct contact from the sore to the penis to be at risk thats why it can be contracted from oral sex. Not by touching then touching.
