HSV 2 questions
Ok, so ive got my first outbreak of hsv2. It was a combo of 3 seperate outbreaks in the same spot on my penis over the last 6 weeks. Im on antivirals, and tons of supplements now. Im clear, for the moment 5 days! YAY. However my Dr, looked at mt rectal (3 weeks ago) area that has been tender and burning, he said I had hemeriods, which I do. He also said he doesnt see any HSV2 in the area, although he looked for about 10 seconds. I havent had any pain, just the burning and raw feeling down there. This has lasted for over 5 weeks, the entire time. When i feel my anus area I feel a pimple like bump next to the hemeriod that he more than likely didnt see. Could i have herpes that lasts 6 weeks down there, one bump? I know the only way to be sure is to get it swabbed. Also Ive read it can be hard to clear up this area. My main question is will the virus be present the entire time, or would this be an old sore that hasnt healed? Also if it is HSV2, that hasnt healed would this account for the back-2-back-2-back out breaks on my penis? Coconut oil has been my ONLY relief on the site (bum). If my rectum area doesnt heal durring an outbreak for 6 weeks am i contagious elsewhere the entire time? Just trying to understand the virus a little better, thanks
What tou describe on your rectum doesn't sound at all like a herpes lesion. You know first hand how they progress and a bump for six weeks is not herpes.
