It could be sunlight, but given your recent history, it is likely related to stress. Stress is known trigger for outbreaks, and I think it's clear that you've been under stress.
You may want to talk to your doctor about suppressive meds. My husband and I both have oral HSV-1, and while outbreaks aren't frequent enough to warrant daily meds, we do have meds for impending outbreaks. As soon as either of us feels a telltale tingle, we take the meds immediately. It doesn't totally prevent the symptoms, but it does ease the severity and duration by a lot. This may be worthwhile for you to investigate, especially during this time of stress.
Yeah, I agree with curfew. It could be any of the things you mentioned, or none of them (I'd doubt it's the SSRIs, maybe the BC, more likely stress or sun). I go through periods with hsv2 where I seem to get outbreaks with no explanation, and sometimes I can pinpoint the exact reason.
Talk to your doc about suppression. It helps me a ton. Or at least have some valtrex or acyclovir on hand to take at the very first sign.
