I tested positive for HSV 2 one week after exposure. My results from the igg was 1.89. For some reason, it is listed in the high column with a reference range of 0.0-0.9. How can it be high if The result is for a week after exposure?? Confusing?

A sore would develop before flu like symptoms from  recent exposure.

I say it's confusing because I only started having symptoms after this most recent exposure. Not any time through the 2 years I was with my girlfriend

We spoke about this already as is amost certainly a false positive and you need another test for an old exposure as its too early from your recent exposure. If you read what i suggested it not confusing.
