your partner needs to be tested to know their status and you need to confirm which type of herpes you have.  You two can't make educated decisions about what precautions to take until you know who has what!

vitamins don't help prevent herpes recurrences nor do they decrease viral shedding which is even more important in a discordant relationship.

if you are having frequent recurrences, don't hesitate to be seen and get properly tested for yeast and bacterial infections vaginally too. Usually when you are getting frequent recurrences like this, it's because it's something triggering them.

have you ever read the free herpes handbook by Terri Warren?
