Is tingling a sure way to know you have herpes?

As I await my test results, I have been having a tingling sensation for about 4-5 weeks. However no ob. Does this alone guarantee herpes?

The herpes culture was negative. I guess my next step is to get a blood test

Yes I have been tested and confirmed negative for Gono and Chlamydia and have also done a urine test in which my urine was confirmed normal. I also was tested for yeast and that came back negative as well. My doctor could tell I was worried and swabbed multiple areas of my vulva although there were no blisters or sores bc it seems that herpes is the only thing that hasn't been rules out

Were you tested for all STD,s including Gono and Chlymdia? Also this maybe a UTI/NGU if your having urethra irritations which may explain the tingling. UTI,s can be very slight and can make you think its your imagination. Id go back to the doctor about this.

The burning appears to be inside of my vagina... But it must be my urethra since it occurs occasionally before/ after I pee... It's hard to tell. And at first it was just a burning sensation in my vagina that started about 2 weeks after sex and now that has subsided an only occurs around those times of urination

Is the burning inside your urethra and how many days after the sex did the burning start?

Could nerve injury be a result of sex? I just find this weird knowing that my symptoms started occurring after I had unprotected sex... I also have a burning sensation sometimes before and after I urinate..

On and off tingling for a months would not be related to herpes but more of an injury to the nerve.

It is on my labia majora... Or the "lips" of the vagina.. Has been on and off there everyday for at least 4 weeks.. And this would be a new infection

Do you have any idea of what it may be? I have read several posts on websites where people have experienced tingling for extensive periods of time

Hi, tingling that last that long would not be herpes related. At most a week.
