To whom it may concern,

I had unprotected sex with a female about 6 days ago and around 2 days after we had sex i noticed about 5 or 6 little red dots that look like pimples around the base of my penis in the pubic hair region. can anyone help me to figure out what this is?

thanks you Angela1234,
i have noticed that all of the "pimples" have disapeered but two of them and they are a little bigger but dont seem to be puss filled and have never oozed anything.  they look  nothing like cold sores and they dont hurt or itch.  This has been going on for about 10 days and i havnt had any cold sores or anything on my lips or face im still really confused about the whole situation.  Any more advice????

Yes tiny bumps that look like pimples could be herpes or HPV (warts). Me and my bf both have Herpes. Ive Had herpes many yrs and I just recently transmiited it to him. He Had small tiny pimple lik bumps and a few days later blisters appeared on his penis, lips and tongue. But don't freak out just yet. It could really just be pimples. The lesions from a herpes outbreak usually appear as open coldsores/blisters which often grow larger and may spread, or small tiny dots that turn into sores, and they may also look like cuts that puss. I would recommend that you refrain from sex until you get tested, if your itching dont scratch do prevent them spreading, wash your hands immediately if u touch them, and of course go get tested asap!!!
