Should I retest?

I had unprotected sex with a girl in late October, unsure of her status but said she was clean. I was tested for all STD's, including herpes at 10 weeks post exposure. I was positive for hsv1 which wasn't a big surprise as I've had cold sores, from what I understand it's insanely common so no big deal. I tested negative for hsv2, and was told I don't have to retest by planned parenthood. However I just recently experienced some dry skin on my shaft and went to a doctor which he confirmed and told me to leave it alone. Anyway still very paranoid, what is the accuracy of negative hsv2 test @ 10 weeks, and known to be 100% negative for hsv2 pre exposure as well?

You do not need to retest. Your negative. The dry skin has nothing to do with hsv.
