HSV-2 questions

I went to my doctor and I tested with an HSV2 range 2.00. Can there be a mistake or is this 100 % positive for HSV-2. My soon to be ex-husband said he got tested and his range was under 1.10 negative. I have been with him for 9 years and I have never been with anyone else except him for 9 years. Are his test result even possible? Or can my test results be wrong?

Any number under a 3.5 is suspect for a false positive. Was your test an igg or igm?
You have a very good chance of this being a false positive
Do you have oral hsv1 (cold sores) ? This is one of a few things that can affect the test
