small rash with blisters but no pain

About 7 months ago my exgirlfriends ex got out of jail and she slept with him. We had sex afterwards and shortly after I started getting very stressed and got some red skin and small blisters in about a 1" patch at the base of my penis. The guy later told me she had herpes. I went to a Dr but the blisters were gone. I asked if it could be herpes and she said if it was it would be very painful. It just felt like sores, nothing excruciating. This has come back a few times but I came afford a herpes test but it makes me nervous because my new girlfriend is pregnant. I haven't had an issue since 4.5 months ago but its back. I've had shingles before and I've been very stressed lately. How worried should I be?

you and your current gf should both seek out type specific herpes igg blood testing. with her being pregnant, both of you know your herpes status is very important to the health of your baby!!

could it be herpes you had? could be but it also could be many other things. at this point the only thing you can know for sure is if you have herpes or not so get the proper testing. did you also cover your bases for all other std's too at the proper times?

You need to be seen and tested, as does your girlfriend, as soon as possible, if you currently have leisions.
