The Unsolved Case - Please Help
I’d like to start by saying, that I’ve NEVER has a gynecological problem, ever. I am 26 and within the past 3 months I have been to the gynecologist over 6 times. The first visit was a routing pap, STD test, and Gaurdasil vaccine – the results I had Chlamydia. I was prescribed an antibiotic and then came back and was diagnosed with bacterial vaginosis, where I was prescribed a gel. I then came back and had a yeast infection (my first ever) and was prescribed Diflucan. I then came back and they diagnosed me with HPV and yet another yeast infection. My pap did come back normal after the HPV. Since this disaster my vagina has never been the same – my discharge is yellowish, the smell is off, and I burn badly after sex. My gyno tells me that it must be another yeast infection and wants to give me Diflucan (for the 3rd time in 6 weeks). I can’t believe this is the problem and I need help! Please…
Yes, I was retested for chlamydia and it was gone. I know they tested for gono and that was negative - what is trick?
have you retested for chlamydia after your first test? did you test for gono, trick? If not you need to retest for chlamydia and get tested for gono and trick. I would advise doing so before the treatment for a yeast. I would also ask her to test for a yeast, you don't want to keep getting treated for something thats not really there.
