Conflicting HPV information

I have been diagnosed with genital warts and I have posted some previous information about my condition. I have been treated for warts on 4 separate occasions. I have read many articles about genital warts and the information given to me by dermatologist is different from the online information I have found. This condition varies from person to person but from the dermatologist perspective (prior experience) there is no long period of remission after 2yrs. The recurrence of the warts is a common thing that most people have to live with and I don't understand why online information states the contrary. I am healthy and for the average person in great shape. I have had three recurrences, I now have little hope for remission. I don't want to be a source of grief but a source of real and personal information. I am not a general example so my experience may or may not apply. I want real information and real experiences. What has worked what hasn't. I now realize that there is only one thing to hope for and that is options. I hope that I can be a beacon for that hope.

go online and search "naturasil"  It is 100% natural and has worked better than anything I`ve ever found.

The truth is I feel like the information provided is so varied its hard. The saying people fear what they dont understand is totally applicable. I feel like as an example you should see Wartsclinic.com , it is a page for a doctor used by fox13. The virus is explained in a way that leads me to believe that it is more easily spread to ones self than other pages have stated. I know some people use the desperation of other to profit from this disease but it is difficult to discern who is and who is not. I saw a YouTube video that claims 10% of the general population will have this medical condition. I also received information from the dermatologist that 90% of people is an unrealistic number to give for the remission of hpv. I am not even sure if the 90% statistic is a general category for all types of hpv not just the types that cause warts. This would explain why the percentage is so high. My dermatologist explained that most people do not go more that a few months without discovering a new lesion. This is alarming considering it cost 80$ to get them removed. I am an engineer by trade and I tend to analyze things thoroughly so it's difficult not to become fixated on this topic. I just want as much information as possible.

There's your whole life to look forward to bro.  this really will only consume no more than another year at the most.  If you are really unlucky perhaps a year and a half.  But don't let the negativity get you down for long.  Remember, even if it is a year and a half, then you got your whole life after that to safe bone your brains out.  It's all good I'm telling you.  If I remember the name of the stuff I'll let you know. Otherwise ask your derm.

Well if you find out what it was it would be awesome. I just discovered another wart behind my scrotum, I will obviously go to the dermatologist. I don't understand how I would get a wart there. It's impossible I had contact there it's just demoralizing. It's expensive to see a dermatologist. This all is hard to deal with when there is little to look forward to

I might ask why you wonder why you're not a general example.  Your story seems textbook from what I can understand of it.  Warts stay around for about a year on average.  You've had it a year.  In that time you've experienced three outbreaks, most recently one just this past few days or weeks.  Now you just have to chill again and live life normally and wait and see if you have any more outbreaks. You might you might not.  There is not much you can do about it because you're in the boat now.  I can completely relate to you though and how you feel.  It is very easy to feel that you'll never beat it.  But you will.  You are right smack dab in the middle of the guidelines. Just relax and let your body do the work.

My own story so far is exactly like yours.  I had a single wart at first.  I left it there for a couple months because I had conflicting diagnosis. Finally saw a derm who burned it off.  I have four more outbreaks ranging from one the next time to three or four or five the other three times.  They were all pretty damn small, didn't grow, and didn't look scary at all.  Yet they were still there and noticeable.  I had them frozen and burned off depending on the time.  I had my fifth outbreak exactly a year after my first.  I got so sad and felt exactly like you. then I never had another outbreak again. It's been 15 months since I've seen a wart and believe me when I say I've tried to find them.  This clearing will happen to you too.  Just put your head down and concentrate on other things.  If you like a girl and want to hump, just tell her, tell her like doctor Handsfield would, matter of factly and not stigmatized.  It's just some warts and they're on the their way out, last legs probably.  If you have another, don't despair.  be cool and wait for better days.  They are on their way.

The only thing that may have helped me other than research and talking with people not so stigmatized and traumatized by HPV, may have been this cream/ointment that I had applied after my last outbreak.  I forget what it's called, but it's some sort of highly acidic application  (it's brown in color and a thicker liquid) that f's up the cells on the outside of your penis.  If there are skin cells there that are holding the viral DNA, they get destroyed and slough off and theoretically help you be clear faster.  I never had another outbreak after using it.  Was it the reason? I do not know.  the stuff is made into a solution from some plant based powder or extract I believe.  I wish I knew of it right away.  I'd have done it immediately.

Hope this helps.

You've responded to my post before, what is your personal experience with HPV? Do you have anything that could help that helped you?

My first warts apearead aproxmately 1 year ago. Vert mild case with about 7~9 warts. I was treated first with Imiqoimod topical treatment and the next three treatments the warts we're frozen off. There was only one wart that had to be treaters twice so far and my fourth treatment was yesterday so the outcome of that treatment isn't clear yet.

When did you get your first wart(s)? When were you diagnosed? And when were your other 3 outbreaks?
