HPV vaccination for a married couple

If a married couple have high risk HPV would it make sense if they both get vaccinated? Assuming they are faithful to each other.

You both have the same strain already, so the vaccine will only protect against new strains and therefore will make no difference unless either of you cheat and pick up a new strain. One of you could have a dormant strain, and if you get vaccinated against that one then when the strain becomes active it will prevent you from getting it.

Thats exactly what I mean, I never had any symptoms but my wife had a suspicious pap result. So there may be something to be gained and absolutely nothing to lose from getting the vaccination. Thanks for sharing your opinion. Best regards to you and your family.
