I had protected vaginal sex with two different CSW in the past month (one was a repeat). Neither of these ladies had any visual signs of HPV warts or Herpes. I have been otherwise healthy, I was trimming my pubic area the other day and notice a small bump on the upper side of my penis shaft, debatably near the area where the condom would end while erect. After reading comments from Dr. HH and EWH on Medhelp it would seem it is plausible but not probable that HPV would be contracted with proper use of a condom as they had both indicated the virus usually has to be massaged into the tissue and not necessarily done through incidental contact with the labia. This spot was about 2 mm and was pinkish and raised a tiny bit. There was no itching, pain or burning to indicate an infection. I have had cold sores my whole life and know what a herpes lesion looks like (there was no fluid or pain or scabbing). I researched HPV warts and they all seem to indicate they are either flattish and soft or cauliflower like and HPV normally appears in a cluster of 2 or more (not usually a single). This bump felt a little solid when I pushed on it.
I did a bit of research on home remedies and used apple cider vinegar on the bump with a q-tip and then a bandage overnight the next evening. Needless to say, the skin around the area was burnt quite a bit from this BUT the bump has a small scab and is really almost not noticeable. As a note, the bump did not turn white with the application of vinegar as some blogs have suggested. Not sure if this was folliculitis or what but by what i have read it did not present as an atypical HPV wart.
Anyone else has any experience with something like this?
