Genital Warts?

Hello, my husband was recently diagnosed with genital warts. This has become a big issue for me because I am afraid our children will contact it from us. He went for a biopsy and picked up the results to. the report said squamous papilloma, without dysplasia (benign verruca). I'm not sure what this means. I was hoping to find out what strain it was. Any advice on what this lab means?

Squamous Papilloma, without dysplasia-- means a benign tumor on the skin (non cancerous)
Benign Verruca means essentioally the same--Benign means noncancerous and Verruca means wart so Non cancerous wart.
I doubt you will find out what strain unless they sent this for a PCR test. They will probably just tell you this is low risk HPV. This should clear up in 6-24 months.
It is unlikely your children will get them, this needs to skin to skin contact.
Good Luck.
