Looking for input for smokers who have or had hpv

So I'm about 95% sure I have hpv doctor originally thought it was molluscum contasiosim which to my disappointment I don't think it is. I've been doing a lot of reading about how your body will naturally phase it put eventually which is cool but I have a few questions about smoking and hpv. I am currently a pack a day smoker and I've read a lot of stuff saying quitting can help but I'm curious to actually hear it from a person who has really gone through it. Also curious if there is anyone who smoked the whole time and their body fought it off or does it just keep coming back because of the weakened immune system?

I would suggest quitting no matter what because now with the virus you are more likley to get mouth cancer and smokeing just adds on to that risk. Thats why I quit.

Quit smoking. Studies have shown that it prevents recovery. Why would you question this?

It's not that I don't wanna quit it's just difficult. I just wanted to know if people who smoke can still get the virus to clear.
