HPV!! need advice please help
im only 17, i have no clue that i have hpv but thru the reaserch that ive done im most positive that i do and i cant belive it but its life and the most common, anyways i was just wondering if anyone out there could tell me where i could find some type of cream or cures to make the warts stop coming and to get rid of them and keep them away without having to see the doctor. thank you and your help would be greatly appreciated ill still be looking to see what i can find, and i mean like stores that i could buy the creams
i been sober/clean 24 years...nickname used to be maryjouana!:)))pot smoking will suppress the immune system done with regularity and significant amount.many moons ago i used to get sick a lot easy..not so today!very healthy gal!
Ok this is a serious question to me...I know everybody say that cigarettes can worsen the situation cause of the tobacco but what if the person smokes weed aka marijuana???
Go to planned parenthood and get a pap, asap. I'll say it again: Go to planned parenthood and get a pap, asap!!! Its free or cheap and so will any treatment for you be when your still under 18. But don't be afraid of the doctor for this. You could end up with cervical cancer, infertility or sterility, sexual malfunctions and more bad news down the road. Effects of high risk hpv in girls can sneak up you fast, so get to a gyno, fast.
Then get your guardisil (sp?) shots while your still under 18, because they're sort of expensive, not sure, but i think $150 a piece x 3(??). guardisil is vaccine for 4 strains of hpv that are the most common to cause cervical cancer and genital warts in females. Any strain you already have prior to getting the vaccine may not be irradicated from the vaccine, but it doesn't hurt to try. Plus ur only talking about warts right now, and you may not have high risk strains of hpv that can give you cervical cancer and wouldn't infect you after you got the vaccine. So get the vaccine! lol.
As for the warts, if u smoke, quit, if you drink, stop. Cigarettes and alcohol are your worst enemies when fighting genital warts. I smoke like a chimney and used to drink like a fish and I had g.w. for 3 years with tons of creams, acids, doctor visits, you name it. The only thing I didn't get was a wart free penis (yes, I'm a guy, but I do know what I'm talkin about here) My current g/f got g.w. from me just as I was on "the home stretch" to getting rid of mine, that is, I didn't have them after about 3 weeks of having sex with her at first., She got hers a little later, but got rid of them on her own w/ out a doctor or anything in 1 month, I kid you not. She hasn't had the guardisil vaccine yet, but the main thing here is that she doesn't smoke and rarely drinks (like once every 2 months). Everyone's immune system is different, but you'll get much better results if you quit smoking/drinking, I promise you that.

hey girl,i checked and Planned parenthood will see teens under 18..u need to go asap and get checked...and hopefully tell ur mother ur sexually active...can u do that?
ur mom doesn't know ur sexually active?r u on birth control?use any if not?do planned parenthoods treat teens under 18?i don't think ours does here!genital warts at 17 is bad news girl!if ur PP treats teens under 18 go for it..u need to let ur mother know whats going on with u....does she ask?
noooo, the last time that ive had sex was a while ago, then the warts showed up like a month after that and i havent had sex then... and i wont untill i know whats up.. does this mean that i have to tell my mom so that she makes me an apt? cause thats harshhh :/ or would a plan parenthood place work too?
first of all r u remaining sexually active and spreading these around?there are no over the counter creams to get rid of HPV genital warts..u need to see a doctor and most likely get checked for other std's!
i just need to know the names of the creams or something of that sort would be so hopefull thanks guys
