Been there done that! Just be glad its not worse. :) Hang in there!
Im supposed to be get paps every six months now because of it being precancerous until they get three normal pap tests in a row... lucky me..lol
Jjcool- see a doctor. Yoko, I never had genital warts until I became pregnant. My precancerous risk turned into warts because of strong cell changes. You are probably okay. I would just be sure to share info with any partners you may decide to have unprotected sex with. There are types that only show up on the cervix, but there are types that show up as warts. Not sure of the exact number of strains out there. Continue to get annual paps, and you should be fine :)
how can you tell if it is genital warts or just bumps? i have red flat bumps that appear on my vagina and they are very tender.. ive been having them for three years now..and they go away and reappear.... now im really concerned because i just started having sex. and if it is genital warts and hpv i do not want to give it to my boyfriend. what shoud i do? im 17!
So how many different types are there of this HPV? Because I didnt end up with genital warts mine ended up being low risk precancerous and what does that mean anyways is it something that my body will reject on its own the doctor I had seen I couldnt understand him very well...
Its so hard to play the "blame" game, when it comes to HPV :( Its possible your partner could have given it to you, but who knows because HPV is so common. I'm not sure if the strains you had in the past could have gone dormant then flared up for some reason...? Its a little fuzzy, all this HPV stuff! I have it and I just deal with it, as I am married and have a baby on the way. The same thing happened to my mom. Years ago, she had a High Risk for cancer then it went away with colposcopy...but it had come back and she had a leep procedure done (coning). And now she's good to go...not the case with me, because mine came back in the form of fully fledged genital warts due to cell changes in pregnancy. Hang in there, and just talk to each other, but don't stress, because this is so common! Good luck to you :)
