Hey, how's it going... Just wanted to do one more update before ending this thread... So she saw her doctor today and he gave her the results of her pap smear... Negative for clap and gono... He told her that it was a lesion on her cervix and that it was negative for cancer... The last thing he told her was she had a yeast infection but with no symptoms and some bacteria... I'm very glad that for the most part her vagina is ok... I decided to take my last hiv test on monday for sanity sake... I need this in order to finally move on... I appreciate u taking the time to listen to my problems and ur encouraging words... Thanks again : )
The tragically hilarious part in all this will be how you look back on it and realize how much unnecessary mental anguish you put yourself through. You know the facts and the advice, but somehow taking it to heart is not easy. It's like this for nearly everyone who goes through this kind of thing. You'll be fine and so will she and it'll be all good. Trust me on this one but you'll find out soon enough.
Thanks you for answering my question... I'm trying to stay mellow about all this but it's so hard... for example, my friend texted me about an hour ago telling me her doctor wants her to come in tomorrow for more bloodwork... her telling me this makes me wonder if it's about hiv testing or her cervical issue or god knows what else... and deep down I'm not sure if they did an hiv test on her last month... earlier this month i saw my doctor and he told not to worry about hiv but i can't... we both see the same doctor so on july 5th i'm getting a finally hiv test and i pray that it comes out negative... thank you again for your help... I hope I can get come sleep tonight : (
Go to your Urologist, they are very educated about HPV.
You should do what Dr. Hook advises but I know you won't be able to. There is really no risk for you in any of this. You have a tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny tiny percent chance of oral cancer in the long term future but it's so low there is no reason to worry about it. Your cell phone is more dangerous.
HPV affects HIV in absolutely no way at all.
There is nothing to look for is she has high-risk HPV. If she gave it too your penis you'll never know. You'll just have to wait two years and after that you can safely say there is no possibility that you would have it as it take a year or two to be supressed by your immune system.
Don't jump to conclusions about cervical cancer. Be worried for her of course, but wait and see what the test show. Just don't put much stock in your worry for yourself. You are not really much at risk for anything.
