How old are you? If you are less than 30 you will probably naturallly get rid of the HPV. Usually, it goes away on its own. Are you PAP's normal? Your husband probably already has it and may have given it to you. If your PAP's remain normal I would get rechecked when it is time for your next exam. Yes of course you can still have kids. I would wait to see if it clears.

Based on this link, the chances of passing it to unborn children is very low.

I don't see how you cannot pass it onto your husband if he is trying to impregnate you the normal way (not in vitro). Condoms stop the sperm....
We want to have kids but we are just unsure if we can do it naturally without getting him infected, if not we are for sure going to do invetro.
my husband is clear i am the only one that has it because of something that happened to me but i am only 23 and my last pap was abnormal and they told me that they had found a spot that looksed cancerous but i am do for another one in the next month. I was unaware that it could go away. i have not been able to talk to my doctor much about this situation so i am still seeking information. thank you
The HPV (virus) can and probably will go away at your age. But not always, so if your PAP is abnormal, I would definitely wait to see what you have to have done if anything, and see what the PAP smear says next time and go from there. You can ask when they do the PAP if they have to freeze the cervical cells or anything like that then ask the risks for the pregancy. I hope it is normal and that you clear the virus. I suggest you wait a bit to see if you could have a baby normally. Yes, your previous question was could you give HPV to your husband, yes you can. Even wearing a condom isn't 100% but chances are both of you will clear the HPV even if he does get it. But, it may take a while...

I have read a lot about HPV and haven't heard of any problems having HPV or an abnormal PAP and causing a problem for pregnancy. if you do have a low grade cancer I would resolve that or get treated before getting pregnant . Also, about 30-50% of women in your age group have HPV and clear the virus, and most have normal pregnancies. So, again I would wait for your results of the next PAP.
