When can i be sexually active again after Genital warts disappear
Hi everyone,
I would like to clarify my situation so i can be sexually active again without worries. So on July 7 i went to my Std clinic and was diagnose with genital warts ( had only one at the beginning of my shaft ) . She perform Cryotherapy with liquid nitrogen. 2 weeks later on the follow-up visit everything was clear! Now it's been 3 weeks since i was first diagnose and no warts have return. I've boost my immune system by eating healthy and taking supplement ( vitamins e , garlic , Echinacea, drinking tea on regular basic, antioxidant juice.. etc.. ) I would like to know if i can have protected sex again without to much of a worry. I know there is no test to know if i clear the virus or not , but can i assume that if there is no warts i can have sex again??

If you have monitored carefully and you are sure that you have no genital warts then you can safely have sex.
Genital warts has been known to go away forever after 6-24 months in the majority of cases although some cases can last much longer.

There is no test for men except the biopsy of a wart. Most people wait 3 months (minimum) and some wait a year or more. You won't ever know if you are not infectious again. Sorry but this virus never leaves the body. You could get more warts 20 years from now or never. There is no one answer for everyone.
