Two-part question about HPV transmission and symptoms

Ok so this is a 2-part question:  Last year I dated a guy who I trusted enough (or so I thought) to have unprotected sex with.  I contracted HPV and had a coupla outbreaks of warts and the guy had no symptoms at all.  We broke up.  I used the podophyllin on the warts for about a month until they went away, but then they just kinda came back again.  So after about a month and a half I got the gardisil vaccines (over the six-month period) and a few months after that I started dating my current boyfriend.  I got the first vaccine and then by the time I was getting my second and third vaccines, I had been having regular and protected sex with my boyfriend, and all the posts or sites or blogs or anything I have read is that when I partner is exposed to another who has HPV, and since it is easily transmitted skin-to-skin, that usually in about three months of contact the partner should also have contracted the HPV virus as well.  It has been almost a year with my new boyfriend and he has had no symptoms or scares or anything.  Nothing at all.  And I have had no outbreaks as well.  I also read that the virus can go dormant and not be detectable by any test, as if in remission...like it could go away on its own after 8-12months or more.  My first question is:  Is it still possible that my boyfriend has contracted HPV from me at this point?  And just yesterday I noticed after I was changing my clothes that only my right labia is swollen.  It only hurts when it contacts something else (ie: underwear, fitted pants, sitting or laying in certain positions, using the bathroom etc) and it has no warts like from before, and there is no itching or burning and no odors or strange discharges.  It is just swollen and has a small red spot on the tip of the labia.  Second question:  Is the swelling an HPV symptom or a blocked sebaceous gland (ie: pimple-like spot) or a bacterial infection of some sort?  I have no idea and I have had it for a day and a half now with no decrease or increase in pain or size or color.  I had sex two days ago without incident and my period ended last week...but I don't know if that has anything to do with this problem.  HELP!!

If he had the virus, he would have showed some sort of symptom's by now... And yes, you are correct..... But just know this.. I had HPV when I was 17 year's old, and I stayed on top of getting treated.. You MUST go to the Dr. when you have outbreaks because they can give you proper treatment.... I stayed on top of mine, and eventaully my warts went away and I haven't had an outbreak since... The virus has been completely flushed from my body...... Just make sure to talk to your Dr. about it and if you have any questions, please feel free to PM me.
