risk of cevical cancer

hi ,

i was diagnosed by a colposcopy 10yrs ago with hpv.
i got it from my 1st boyfriend ever!!!! anyhow my ob/gyn decided on a laser treatment
and conoidectomy . since then i had clear paps and 3 healthy children

question : what are my chances of escaping cervical cancer ??

the diagnosis was hpv cin 1.

i don't smoke and have had 2 partners my whole life.

if you have been diagnosed with hpv, then it is high risk, they dont bother checking for low risk

tks for post.

i don't know if it was high risk hpv just that i had condylomata.
the doc never said high or low risk hpv.

as to yr problem i think that  yu should be upfront with yr bf ,
if he is intelligent he will do some research and he will find out
tht hpv can be in yr system for years before it manifests itself.

hello, i cannot answer your question and seeing how you were diagnosed with high risk hpv ??? i posted a question right above yours, if you culd give me some advice on how to deal that would be great
