Very vague post.....but il give it a go
I assume you had warts and went for a check up where the doc put vinegar on to see if you still had warts?
Sorry for the vagueness, I've had cin 1 now for two years have repeat paps and colpos every six months, every pap has been abnormal and every time I've had the colop they've had to take a biopsy. This time the pap came back abnormal but when I went to get the colpo done the docotor said there were no areas turning white, hence the no biospy...so I'm wondering if after two years since nothing turned white this time that my body is starting to clear the hpv
CIN 1 is a mild abnormality, if he did not see anything then yes it has probably cleared and it is not a good idea to have too many biopsies, so he did not do one. No reason and it also is expensive to pay the pathology report for no reason.
Normally HPV will clear itself from the body within 2yrs at least thats what i'm told unless you are reinfected by a new partner. Its great that he didn't see anything to biopsy!
Thanks you guys, I thought id never show any improvent. After two and a half years of biopsies and colpos this is the first good news I've gotten. I'm suppose to go back in four months and have another pap. Maybe it'll be my first normal pap in a long while.
I read an article saying it clears up before age thirty if your in your 20's. Its gonna be two years for me on February 11 and I still have the same warts on my cervix. I had them on the outside of my vagina and anus, those went away and never came back but the one on my cervix is still there. Every three months I see my gyno and she has now recommended surgery. Hope when its removed they don't come back. Good Luck!
