If you go to a free clinic (such as planned parenthood) chances are they'll use cheaper methods like cryotherapy, aldara or condylox cream. Those only infected with high risk hpv can't give someone warts, because high risk types of hpv do not cause warts. The only way someone can get warts is to have sexual contact with someone who is carrying a wart strain of HPV. So unless the girl has multiple strains of HPV, you couldn't have caught genital warts from her. If a doctor said these bumps weren't genital warts, I wouldn't worry.
