Benzoyl Peroxide activate dormant HPV?

I had HPV more than 5 years ago - I removed it by picking at it (I know, bad) and it eventually regressed and went away. I recently had a new outbreak, several months ago, and I realized it was soon after I started using a Benzoyl Peroxide body soap. I had the warts removed by a doctor this time, and everything was fine. I used the soap again and I noticed small papillomas. I had these removed before they could grow and have since stopped using the soap.

Could the soap be oxygenating my skin which helps the warts grow? I am almost convinced the soap triggered the new outbreak.

it may be best to ask your derm doctor. If they dont know for sure you can request that they ask another doctor in their network and call you back with what they found out.
