Why would I be start bleeding?

I have had a complete hysterectomy in 2006, today I started bleeding.
A month ago on my routine family doctor checkup, my urine came back with blood in it.
Had it rechecked and culture done everything fine.  Do you think this has anything to do with the bleeding?

Yes, the best thing to do is see your Dr. You could have a vaginal or urinary tract infection. Ask for a pap smear and a urine test. It's true that you should not be bleeding after having a hysterectomy. That does not mean you have cancer but it's best to get in to see your Dr as soon as you can. Take care. Remar

Hello I hope that you are feeling better even if you have stopped bleeding PLEASE make an appt with your gyno and get everything checked out. It is not normal to bleed after a complete hysterectomy. It may be something simple or possibly something not so good either way you need to get in to see your doc to rule out the not so good better to be safe than sorry. I'm not trying to scare you and every one is different but my mother at age 63 started bleeding and they found cancer in early stages, she is fine now but I cannot stress enough PLEASE PLEASE get this checked out ASAP. Best wishes and prayers...
